Dr. Alistair Webb

Alistair was born, raised and educated in Toowoomba. He graduated from the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Veterinary Science (1st class Honours) in 1987. Alistair has worked in Small animal and mixed animal practice in Toowoomba for 28 years and in small animal practice in England for 2 years.

He has a Membership (by examination) to the Australian and New Zealand College of Veterinary Scientists in Feline Medicine. Alistair has a long standing interest in the medicine and surgery of dogs and cats and is an active Member of the Australian Veterinary Association (AVA).

Alistair is married to Marea and has two adult sons: Lachlan and Hayden. In his precious spare time Alistair also enjoys gardening, raising Clivias, playing cricket and appreciating good red wine.

At home he has a 12 year old mischievous ginger & white cat called ‘Sonny’.

Alistair is also enjoys his involvement with several community and professional organisations;

  • Current President of the Australian Small Animal Veterinarians - a national group representing small animal practitioners within the AVA
  • Past president of both the Darling Downs & South West Queensland Branch of the AVA and The Queensland Division of the AVA
  • Executive Member of the Animal Ethics Committee at the University of Southern Queensland  
  • Member of The Rotary Club of Toowoomba East and current Assistant Governor in Rotary District 9630
  • Current Vice President of the Centenary Heights High School P&C Association
